  • The computer is then put through a series of tests to identify any conflicts or choke points.

  • Conflicts are resolved individually.

  • Stress test to identify any weak areas.

  • Removal of any unneeded programs, residual hotfixes, cookies and other small residue from use.

  • Registry scan to remove any aftereffects.

  • Profile for any possible upgrades.
